Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selections and offering knowledgeable recommendations
- Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer operations with integrity
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume
- Communicate benefits of opening a Belk credit card
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
