This role will serve as a key operational partner to our Diagnostic, Sales, and Market Access field teams, ensuring that systems, data, processes, and tools are optimized to enable their success. The position is highly cross‑functional and plays a central role in supporting day‑to‑day field execution, requiring strong communication skills, operational rigor, and a service‑oriented mindset.
Minimal travel expected (<20%), primarily for field meetings or vendor/onboarding sessions.
1. Veeva CRM & Salesforce Excellence
o Own the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Veeva CRM for field reps.
o Ensure data integrity, system readiness, and seamless functionality for field activities.
o Manage user support, training, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements.
o Partner with IT and vendor partners to ensure system stability and improvement.
2. Field Operations Support
o Serve as the primary point of contact for field teams regarding operational tools, reporting, and process questions.
o Develop and deliver communications, training materials, and documentation for new features, capabilities, and field processes.
o Support onboarding of new field team members from an operational systems perspective.
3. Incentive Compensation (IC)
o Assist with design, modeling, and administration of incentive compensation plans.
o Help evaluate plan effectiveness, conduct payout calculations, and ensure accuracy and fairness in IC programs.
o Coordinate with Finance and HR on payouts, eligibility, and field communication.
4. Targeting, Segmentation, and Alignment Execution
o Support the development and implementation of target lists, call plans, and field force alignment.
o Work closely with Marketing to ensure targeting strategy is executed accurately in CRM.
o Manage periodic updates and change-control processes.
5. Compliance, Aggregate Spend and Transparency Reporting
o Support the collection, validation, and submission of HCP spend data in alignment with federal and state transparency regulations (Sunshine Act/Open Payments).
o Partner with Compliance and Finance to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of field-related expenses, transfers of value, and required disclosures.
o Assist with monitoring aggregate spend data for accuracy and completeness.
o Serve as an operational liaison to the field regarding transparency reporting requirements, compliant documentation, and appropriate use of systems/tools.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Work with Marketing, Market Access, HR, and IT to support commercial readiness and ongoing operational excellence.
o Participate in commercial launch planning and field enablement activities.
o Contribute to building scalable processes, SOPs, and operational workflows as the team grows.
o Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure Diagnostics and Branded field teams receive appropriately blinded, segmented, and compliant data sets; manage user access and data delivery rules within CRM and reporting tools to maintain required firewalls between teams.
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, analytics, or related field.
• 6 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, CRM management, or related role within biotech/pharmaceuticals.
• Hands-on experience with Veeva CRM (Admin or Business Owner preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and an understanding of data flows and reporting.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project-management abilities.
Preferred:
• Experience supporting a field sales team in a small or emerging biotech environment.
• Familiarity with incentive compensation plan design/administration.
• Familiarity with transparency reporting tools.
• Understanding specialty pharmaceutical or rare disease commercial models.
