The Team Lead, Supply Chain is responsible for managing all aspects of new and existing supply chain for their specific assigned commodities. Responsible for ensuring the quality and uninterrupted supply of raw materials, semi-finished products, and components along with auxiliary plant equipment, spare parts and services for Belimo Customization (USA) provided by third-party companies.

The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000 - $105,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. What You'll Do
- Procure finished goods, raw materials, semi-finished products and components, auxiliary plant equipment, and spare parts and services.
- Manage high level projects and contract negotiations which require an advanced level of comprehension of Electronics Manufacturing including PCB, Cable, Sensors, Full box build and global supply optimization initiatives.
- Provide leadership to responsible team in everyday operations to ensure optimum supply availability.
- Coach and mentor team by delegating tasks in projects to build up supply chain knowledge.
- Utilize market research and investigate potential new sources of supply with worldwide suppliers.
- Establish and develop excellent relationships with suppliers
- Leading & managing sourcing projects
- Validating new and existing suppliers, benchmarking, always considering Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Management and optimization of the supply chain for all responsible suppliers
- Ensure top quality products are purchased, with on-time delivery and excellent pricing is a priority.
- Responsible for the accuracy of commodity specific purchasing data in the SAP system.
- Support Purchasing Manager with tasks for continued team success such as interviewing, training, team building, and developing team goals/objectives.
- Primary contact for escalation of difficult issues or disputes with internal customers or vendors, as needed.
- BS Degree in Business or technical field. (Electronics field preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of purchasing and optimizing supply chain with Direct Manufacturers of electronics including PCB, Cables and sensors.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and mentor others successfully in a team environment and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Strategic Sourcing experience in Electronics.
