Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $95,000-$110,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 10% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. What You'll Do
- Independently design mechanical components and assemblies
- Create CAD models and manufacturing drawings using GD&T
- Evaluate materials and manufacturing technologies
- Support product improvements across the lifecycle
- Actively contribute to design reviews
- Plan and coordinate qualification testing
- Analyze test data and propose corrective actions
- Identify technical risks and contrubute mitigation measures
- Collaborate cross-funcitonally within development projects
- Support suppliers in improving manufacturability, quality, and inspection methods
- Drive change requests and minor product improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechancial Engineering
- Solid mechanical design and analysis skills
- Proficiency in 3D CAD systems
- 3 years of mechanical design or product development experience
- Self-started with good organizational skills
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
- Effective communicator in a technical environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- German is an advantage
