Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred or in progress.
- New Mexico Public Education Athletic Coach License required
- Minimum of three years head coach experience with high school or middle school athletic programs required.
- Previous, verifiable, Athletic Coordinator experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build and articulate a vision with staff, students, parents and community in the area of athletics, student activities, and recreational activities.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of technology’s application to athletic/activity operations and instruction.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the New Mexico Activities Association and its procedures.
- Embraces and encourages diversity.
- Demonstrated a willingness to seek professional development in administrative leadership, management, and supervision.
- Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements noted on the job description.
