Job Summary:
Belden's Pricing Specialist operates as the technical and application expert during pre-sales activities with identified target customers or markets within a defined geographic region. You'll partner with our sales team to work closely with new and existing customers to develop solutions. This position reports directly to the Pricing Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Apply accurate costs and pricing guidelines, escalating issues promptly to pricing strategy team
- Be responsive to customer needs and delivery of quotes Work closely with Product Management, Sales, and Engineering to offer a mutually equitable solution
- Conduct system analysis of both customer and product margins in support of the corporate margin guidelines
- Help in the development and improvement of analytical and pricing tools required to evaluate customer, product sales and margins
Required Skills and Experience
- Education: Associates Degree, Technical Diploma or 2 or more years of relevant technical experience
- Markets: Knowledge of similar or adjacent Industrial Automation and Smart Buildingmarkets
- Customers Define our Success: Customer Service experience preferred
