Job Description
We are seeking a proactive self-starter with a bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience in software systems engineering. The ideal candidate will have exposure to system architecture, design, integration, verification, and validation.
- Develop complex software system architectures.
- Develop software interface control documents.
- Perform verification planning and develop V&V plans, procedures, and reports.
- Work complex programs with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
The successful Systems Engineer will have a foundation in systems design and experience in most phases of the product development life cycle. They must currently have Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain it.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field.
- 10 years of systems engineering experience.
- Requirements analysis, definition, and management, including functional analysis, performance analysis, system architecture, and design, and systems integration.
- Strong understanding of software practices and terminology.
- Experience with requirements management and system modeling tools, such as DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, and MATLAB.
- Experience with spacecraft or satellite systems, software, and components.
