This position is located within our Flexible Assembly Operation at our Livonia, MI facility. client Flexible Assembly provides assembly services to many of the leading-edge companies in the automotive industry. Products we produce for our customers consist of Off-Road tactical military vehicles, self-driving autonomous vehicles & electric vehicles just to name a few. These low volume, highly technical projects make for a very exciting work environment where you learn cutting edge technology on a regular basis. Full time / direct hire employment opportunities to the right candidates.

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' automotive technician / mechanic experience or equivalent military experience
• Must have own tools with rolling toolbox
• Must have well rounded technician / mechanical experience and knowledge
• Must have good organizational skills
• Must have good attention to detail
• Must possess the skills to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures
• Must be an automotive technician / mechanic with a high level of urgency, motivation, and enthusiasm to learn
• Must have reliable attendance and the willingness to work overtime/weekends

Preferred Skills:

• State/ASE certifications
• Experience working with Electric vehicles

NOTE: Certification from Michigan as Mechanic or any certification in Automotive Industries is primarily accepted

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a pay range of $21 - $23/hr. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
