Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is seeking an Assembler to join its manufacturing team in Ogden, Utah. This position is responsible for assembling and fabricating precision sheet metal components used in aerospace applications while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quali
ty.

Key Responsibili
ties:
- Work independently and in small teams to assemble and fit sheet metal components using dedicated fixtures and manufacturing to
oling.- Scribe, grind, and adjust components to achieve required fit and dimensional specifica
tions.- Utilize resistance spot welding equipment to pre-assemble parts prior to brazing opera
tions.- Use hand tools and power tools including hammers, metal forming dies, pliers, tin snips, grinders, and other fabrication equi
pment.- Perform basic sheet metal forming and assembly operations in accordance with work instructions and engineering require
ments.- Utilize calibrated measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify parts meet customer and engineering specifica
tions.- Read and follow work instructions, production routers, and quality proce
dures.- Complete required production paperwork, checklists, and manufacturing documentation accur
ately.- Maintain a clean and organized work area while properly caring for tools and equi
pment.- Work safely at all times and comply with company safety, quality, and environmental require
ments.
Qualific
ations:
- High School Diploma or GED r
equired.- Previous manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, sheet metal, or mechanical experience pr
eferred.- Sheet metal fabrication experience is highly de
sirable.- Experience with brazing, resistance welding, spot welding, or fusion welding is
a plus.- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely and effe
ctively.- Ability to read and understand written instructions, procedures, and safety requi
rements.- Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn new skills and manufacturing pr
ocesses.- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quali
ty work.- Ability to work effectively in teams of two or three to accomplish productio
n goals.- Strong attendance and reliability are r
equired.- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing pri
orities.
Physical & Environmental Requ
irements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as required to perform assembly tasks. Ability to lift, move, and position parts and materials as
required.- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and ef
ficiently.- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and industrial
equipment.- Ability to wear required personal protective equipm
ent (PPE).
