We are growing across South Carolina, and we are looking for a Patient Advocate to join our [Practice] front office team. If you have ever wanted to work somewhere that treats patients like guests instead of numbers, somewhere your warmth at the front desk actually matters to how the day unfolds, this is going to feel different.
What you will own
- The first impression. You are the first voice every patient hears and the first face they see when they walk in. That moment matters. We have built our front office around treating people like guests, and you set the tone the rest of the visit is measured against.
- The patient journey. From the new patient inquiry to the welcome packet, the scheduling, the treatment plan conversation, the checkout, and the recall, you orchestrate everything that surrounds the clinical work. You make the operational side of the visit feel personal.
- The financial relationship. Insurance claims, AR, collections, patient statements, self-pay arrangements, and patient financing. You help patients understand their options and make care accessible without making the conversation feel transactional.
- The follow-through. You notice the missed appointments, the unscheduled treatment, and the patients who haven't been back in a while. You reach out, not because the system tells you to, but because they matter.

Who we are looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of patient-facing experience in dental, healthcare, hospitality, or service industry preferred (we will train the right person)
- Comfort with dental practice software (Dentrix experience a plus) and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several things at once without losing the human in front of you
- A warm, service-oriented attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- A genuine interest in helping people navigate their care and their billing with grace
