Position Overview / Job Scope & Core Deliverables
- Support the development and execution of the global category vision and growth strategy, collaborating with regional and local teams.
- Lead and coordinate strategic category initiatives, including innovation launches, portfolio optimization, and best practice sharing across markets.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and inform decision-making.
- Partner with marketing, sales, and R&D to drive category growth projects from ideation to execution.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and business cases to senior management and external partners.
- Track performance metrics, report on progress, and recommend course corrections as needed.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement within the global category team.
- Embody the Bel Leadership competencies: drive and accelerate transformation, demonstrate agility, dare to innovate, unconditional collaboration, unleash & develop talents.
- Proven experience in category management, marketing, or commercial roles within FMCG or a related sector : 7 years
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience working in a matrix and multicultural environment.
- Demonstrated leadership potential, with the ability to influence and drive results across functions and geographies.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
