What are the responsibilities and job description for the Faculty Instructor - Laboratory Animal position at Bel-Rea Institute?

Then we have the position for you! We are currently seeking a Laboratory Animal Instructor for our Veterinary Technology Program.
Duties include:
- Teaching the Laboratory Animal course while adhering to course objectives as defined and approved by our accreditors
- Tutoring students on an as-needed basis
- Ensuring that the AVMA Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA) essential skills are taught and properly documented in our online competency tracking system
- Participating in in-service training and continuing education to maintain Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credentials
We operate on a quarter system, with classes running 10 to 11 weeks and 2 to 3 weeks of break between quarters.
Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology (Bel-Rea) is an ACCSC and AVMA accredited veterinary technology, vocational training college in southeast Denver (www.belrea.edu). Since the program’s launch in 1971, over 6700 students have earned an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Bel-Rea.
