Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and private spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle all laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care and precision
- Ensure all laundry is processed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards for cleanliness and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of all housekeeping supplies and equipment; report any damages or maintenance needs promptly
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry products to ensure adequate stock levels
- Adhere to established health and hygiene standards, including proper disposal of waste and use of personal protective equipment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping or laundry services is preferred; hotel experience is a strong plus!
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and laundry processes
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to service excellence
- Reliability is required, must be able to consistently show up to your shifts on time
