Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients
- Collect and update client information in Avimark
- Assist with filing, record keeping, and other administrative tasks
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth workflow
- Provide basic information about services, fees, and policies to clients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Avimark software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in using computer systems and other office equipment
