Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking candidate to join our team. This role involves working on a variety of exterior building projects, including roofing, siding, gutters, decks, and other exterior repairs. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions and has a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.
This position plays a key role in maintaining and improving residential and commercial properties by assisting with installations, repairs, and general construction tasks. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions while working efficiently on job sites.
Candidates with prior construction experience are preferred; however, motivated individuals willing to learn and grow within the company are encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation of each residential and/or commercial job by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and organizing materials.
- Perform manual labor when installing and repairing each job.
- Support other crew members by providing necessary tools and materials promptly. Assist with general tasks such as measuring, cutting, hauling materials, and job site preparation.
- Operate basic construction equipment under supervision and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on site.
- Follow all safety guidelines and safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other construction equipment.
- Help with loading and unloading materials to ensure timely delivery for ongoing projects
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects (50 lbs.), climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, etc.)
- Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus, but not required; training will be provided.
