Purpose and Mission
- Responsible for the hands-on maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems and equipment, executing mechanical maintenance in accordance with maintenance standard procedures.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly to prevent production interruptions.
- Repairs: Repair or replace faulty mechanical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Collaboration: Work closely with electrical maintenance teams and production staff to coordinate maintenance efforts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Mechanical Systems Knowledge: Understanding of machinery and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
- Preventive Maintenance: Proficiency in developing and executing maintenance schedules.
- Technical Drawing Interpretation: Skill in reading and interpreting mechanical schematics.
- Hands-On Skills: Experience with hand and power tools for repairs.
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in machinery.
- Safety Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS): Ability to use CMMS for tracking maintenance activities.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent.
