Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction management knowledge, and proficiency with industry-standard software. Duties
- Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software.
- Prepare and review construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and civil drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes in compliance with company policies.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety standards and quality control are maintained.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate communication and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits and updates; adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
- Utilize Civil 3D for site design coordination when applicable.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets by tracking costs and managing resources efficiently.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and opportunities for stakeholders.
Skills
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, and contract management.
- Experience with construction site operations and site safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent project coordination skills with a focus on time management and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with construction management principles including quality assurance and safety compliance.
