We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Director of Commercial Strategy to work closely with the Managing Director in advancing core business goals and key organisational projects. This role is pivotal in translating strategic priorities into action, ensuring leadership engagements, presentations, and communications align with the broader vision and mission of the organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
Executive Collaboration for Strategy Alignment
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, ensuring coherence across initiatives, meetings, and deliverables.
- Serve as a central point of contact between executives, their teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Prepare leadership for critical meetings, including biweekly executive sessions and high-level stakeholder interactions.
- Design purposeful meeting agendas and oversee follow-up actions to ensure timely execution and communication.
Projects
- Support the Marketing and Communications department in all initiatives, controlling results and sharing them with the Managing Director and senior leaders.
- Prepare presentations for internal and external use.
- Monitor action items and ensure timely follow-through across teams and others.
Presentation Design and Narrative Craft
- Produce professional, visually engaging presentations that effectively convey strategic priorities, business performance, and executive messaging.
- Translate complex data and qualitative insights into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives.
- Utilize tools like PowerPoint, Keynote, and Canva to create polished, presentation-ready materials.
- Offer strategic context and insights by identifying trends, key messages, and potential risks or opportunities.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, clarity, and effectiveness in all written and visual outputs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in strategy, sales, and/or analytics in sports and/or streaming is a plus.
- MBA and a bachelor’s degree in advertising, business, marketing, or other relevant major.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Success in developing and delivering strategic presentations.
- Experience supporting or advising C-level executives.
- Proven ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to connect data to strategic objectives and provide actionable advice.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Professional demeanor and confidence in engaging with senior executives.
Reporting Line
This role reports directly to the Managing Director and serves as a key member of the Revenue Leadership Team. The position also includes responsibility for managing one direct report.
