Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring each is crafted to perfection.
• Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner to create a positive experience from ordering to payment.
• Operate POS systems such as TOAST efficiently for retail sales transactions and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately while managing register operations with basic math skills.
• Assist with food handling and preparation tasks to support overall café operations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous barista or café experience is preferred; familiarity with beverage service and food industry standards is a plus.
• Experience with POS systems such as TOAST is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving correct change.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
