While you’ll have a primary home base, our team works together across all three locations. From time to time, you may be asked to travel to another office to help cover vacations or sick days—teamwork makes the dream work!

Duties

  • Ability to travel to another office to help cover vacations or sick days.
  • Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including prosthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and general dentistry treatments.
  • Perform expanded functions such as coronal polishing, Place and remove matrix bands/retainers and other delegated clinical tasks following state regulations.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), including 3D scans, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
  • Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as CurveHero for accurate documentation of patient histories, treatment plans, and medical records.
  • Conduct vital signs assessments to support comprehensive patient evaluations.
  • Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment.
  • Support front desk operations by assisting with dental receptionist duties when needed and managing patient flow efficiently.
  • Educate patients on treatment procedures, post-operative care, and oral health best practices using clear dental terminology.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Collaborate seamlessly in four-handed dentistry setups to optimize efficiency during procedures.

Skills

  • Proficiency with EMR systems such as CurveHero for medical documentation and scheduling.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
  • Experience with pediatric dentistry procedures and working with pediatric patients in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining excellent patient rapport.
  • Skilled in taking X-rays including 3D ITero scanning
  • Familiarity with dental assisting protocols across various specialties including orthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages while maintaining professionalism.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while adhering to infection control standards and safety guidelines. Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28.0 – 36.0 per week

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Pediatric dentistry: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • EFDA Certification (Required)
