Behaviors of NYC is seeking a reliable and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to a 6-year-old boy with Autism in a home setting. The student is high-functioning and benefits from structured routines, positive reinforcement, and skill-building support.
This position is ideal for an RBT who has experience supporting activities of daily living (ADLs), executive functioning skills, and social skills development in young children.

Position Details
Schedule:
- Monday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Staten Island, NY 10310 (in-home setting)
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in the home environment
- Implement behavior intervention strategies under BCBA supervision
- Support development of:
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Executive functioning skills
- Social and communication skills
- Use positive reinforcement and proactive behavioral supports
- Collect and record accurate session data
- Collaborate with parents and supervising BCBA
- Support skill development across daily routines and structured activities
Qualifications
- Active RBT certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ABA or a related field (education, psychology, special education)
- Experience working with young children with Autism
- Familiarity with teaching ADL, executive functioning, and social skills
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with families and supervisors
- Open to feedback and ongoing professional development
- Willing to attend BCBA meetings and trainings as needed
