Behavioral Systems Southwest Day Reporting Center is looking for a full time Certified AOD Counselor to provide outpatient drug/alcohol services to the parolee clients this program serves. Evenings may be required, as well as one weekend day.
The appropriate candidate must possess certification from one of the following:
1. CCAPP
2. CADPT
3. CAADE
Further, the candidate must possess the following:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Collaborate effectively with team members
Responsibilities:
- Conduct one on one drug/alcohol counseling
- Conduct small groups related to drug/alcohol related issues
- Report writing, group/individual session documentation
- Client file maintenance
- ARMS maintenance (will train) of the Department of Corrections database.
