Duties
- Develop and implement individualized behavior management plans based on client assessments and data collection.
- Conduct intake assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and develop personalized care strategies.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention and crisis management protocols, ensuring safety for clients and staff.
- Collaborate with social workers, medical professionals, and family members to coordinate comprehensive behavioral health services.
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to track progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children or adults with disabilities, including developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and crisis management techniques.
- Strong understanding of behavior management principles, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and special education practices.
- Excellent communication skills for intake assessments, patient care coordination, and team collaboration.
