Role Description
The Behavioral Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Los Angeles, CA. As a Behavioral Technician, you will work directly with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, implementing behavior intervention programs under the supervision of a qualified behavior analyst. Responsibilities include conducting ABA-based interventions, collecting data, recording progress, and providing feedback to the supervising clinician. Cooperation with families, caregivers, and other team members is essential to supporting clients' progress.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience or knowledge of Behavioral Intervention techniques and practices.
- Background in Psychology or a related field is strongly recommended.
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities are highly desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in ABA, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and clearances as required by local, state, or federal policies.
