Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavior intervention strategies to improve the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and behavioral assessments to identify client needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies to promote positive behavior changes.
- Collect and analyze data to measure client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide training and support to families, caregivers, and staff on effective behavioral techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and patient assessments, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in intake processes for new clients, ensuring all relevant information is gathered for effective treatment planning.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis related to behavioral health.
- Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and patient care protocols.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
