Clinical Counselor for Detainees at the Pickens County Detention Center. Full-time, Clinical Counselor position to be responsible for providing clinical services to incarcerated individuals on-site at the detention center, and arranging follow-up services at BHSPC. The duties for this position will include completing biopsychosocial assessments, providing individual counseling services, case management, and coordinating continuing care with referral sources.
The position will require graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in counseling or related area and extensive counseling experience, S.C. State licensure to provide counseling services preferred; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be eligible to be certified as a Licensed Addictions Counselor in South Carolina and have some flexibility in regards to schedule worked and populations served. The salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
