The Implementation Specialist is responsible for planning, configuring, and deploying the electronic health record system and related peripherals to support clinical, financial, and operational workflows across behavioral health and human services environments. This role works closely with program leadership, clinicians, billing team, to ensure successful implementation, workflow alignment, and user adoption of modules and functionality.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM

What your day might look like:
- Support all phases of EHR and clinical peripheral implementations, including discovery, workflow analysis, system build, testing, training, go live, and post go-live optimization.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into functional configurations within the EHR.
- Assist with project timelines and deliverables
- Coordinate with Netsmart representatives and internal project leadership to ensure deliverables are met.
- Assist with creation of post implementation resource documentation to support end users.
- Assist with support of EHR, including routine Avatar support requests.
Your skills and qualifications:
- Experience working with EHR systems in behavioral health or human services.
- Strong technical expertise alongside problem solving and strategic thinking.
- Hands‑on experience using or supporting Netsmart myAvatar or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health workflows, documentation requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication, workflow analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to support staff with varying technical skill levels.
