As a Family Partner At BHN, You Will
- Partner with parents and caregivers to strengthen confidence and build supportive networks.
- Teach families to navigate child-serving systems and processes.
- Provide consultation to treatment teams on family-driven practices.
- Link parents to peer/parent support, self-help groups, and community resources.
- Support families in identifying and achieving goals outlined in treatment plans.
- High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience with children/adolescents/transition-age youth; OR
- Associate’s Degree in Human Services with 1 year of related experience; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services with 1 year of experience with the target population.
- Personal lived experience as a caregiver of a youth with special needs, preferably with mental health needs.
- Strong knowledge of child- and family-serving systems and ability to guide families in navigating them.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required).
- Strong verbal/written communication and cultural competence.
