Responsibilities
- Supervise pharmacy technicians in preparing pre-dispensed methadone and take-home bottles.
- Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation and maintain accurate records of daily transactions between pharmacy and nursing departments.
- Report irreconcilable events and discrepancies according to company policy and DEA regulations.
- Participate in professional development activities and required training by federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies.
- Effective communication skills for phone and in-person interactions.
- Adequate vision to read correspondence and computer screens.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, bend, stoop, and stretch.
- Comfortable with variable workload and periodic high stress.
- Familiarity with standard medical office conditions and interactions with diverse patient populations.
- May require the use of protective equipment.
