Operations Intern

Behavioral Health Group is seeking a highly motivated Operations Intern to support strategic and operational initiatives across the organization. This role offers hands-on experience working directly with executive leadership, with a strong focus on data analysis, performance insights, and continuous improvement efforts within a behavioral health setting.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and interested in healthcare operations, quality improvement, and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Research and Analysis: Patient Experience

• Conduct research and analysis of Net Promoter Score (NPS) and patient satisfaction data
• Identify trends, patterns, and key drivers impacting patient experience
• Develop insights and recommendations to improve satisfaction and engagement
  
  

Operational Data Analysis: Program Initiatives

• Analyze data related to Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program launches
• Track performance metrics and support evaluation of program effectiveness
• Partner with operations teams to identify opportunities for optimization
  
  

Performance Improvement Support

• Analyze data associated with Corrective Plans of Action (CPO)
• Monitor progress, measure outcomes, and identify areas for improvement
• Support reporting and documentation of findings
  
  

Strategic Initiative Analysis

• Assist in evaluating Strategic Response Plans (SRPs) through data analysis and performance tracking
• Provide insights to support decision-making and execution of strategic priorities
  
  

Reporting and Presentation

• Create clear, concise reports and presentations for senior leadership
• Translate complex data into actionable insights
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis functions); experience with data visualization tools is a plus
• Ability to synthesize data into meaningful insights and recommendations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Interest in behavioral health or healthcare operations
• Experience working with large datasets or performance metrics
• Familiarity with quality improvement or healthcare compliance initiatives
