Behavioral Health Field, Inc. (BH Field) is a team of compassionate, ethical Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinicians dedicated to supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as their families.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote Accountant role. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining clean books, processing insurance and client invoices, processing payroll and collaborating directly with our CPA in the United States. The ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting, is comfortable working within US tax and billing frameworks, and communicates confidently in English.
Responsabilities
- Record financial transactions (accounts payable & receivable)
- Issue and track invoices to clients, families, and insurance companies
- Process insurance billing and verify coverage/authorizations
- Follow up on outstanding payments and manage collections
- Handle billing disputes, adjustments, and EOB reconciliation
- Maintain accurate billing records per payer requirements
- Support payroll reporting and expense classification
- Maintain organized digital accounting files and records
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with the US team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, billing, or a similar role
- English proficiency — written and spoken (required)
- Basic knowledge of US taxation is a strong plus
- Comfortable with remote work setting
