Atlas is seeking a DUAL LICENSED FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER/ PSYCHIATRIC LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER to work in our Integrated Facility.
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses - crisis episodes
- Prescribe psychiatric medications and medical for primary care treatment plans/ Follow up visits
- Facilitate psychiatric triage, ASAM designations
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- This position will be responsible for performing thorough psychiatric evaluations and overall patient care management including ongoing assessments, medication management.

Key Responsibilities of Family Nurse Practitioners
- Patient Care Management: FNPs manage the care of patients across their lifespan, from infants to the elderly. They serve as primary care providers, offering holistic healthcare services and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
- Health Assessments: They conduct thorough health assessments, which include taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and evaluating patients' overall health. This helps in identifying potential health issues and establishing baseline health measurements.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: FNPs diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions. They develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and can prescribe medications and therapies as necessary.
- Ordering and Interpreting Diagnostic Tests: They have the authority to order diagnostic tests such as blood tests, X-rays, and other imaging studies, and interpret the results to inform treatment decisions.
- Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: FNPs focus on preventive care, educating patients about healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention strategies, and managing chronic diseases. They play a crucial role in promoting wellness within the community.
