We are seeking a dedicated and qualified full-time, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our supportive Outpatient team and provide essential clinical and administrative support to our behavioral health providers and clients.
JOB GOAL
The primary goal of this position is to facilitate smooth client care and efficient clinic operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Administering injections (shots) as directed by a psychiatrist.
- Escorting clients to therapy rooms and preparing them for their appointment with the psychiatrist.
- Pulling and preparing client files for appointments.
- Scanning and accurately filing documents.
- Processing and sending electronic prescriptions (e-scripts) to pharmacies.
- Managing and completing prior authorizations for medications.
- Serving as a key communicator between psychiatrists, clients, and pharmacies.
- Checking and responding to voicemails and faxes promptly.
- Answering incoming phone calls and directing them as necessary.
- Complete other duties as assigned by Administration.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Certification as an LPN.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Basic computer literacy
