Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments, including diagnostic evaluations to determine level of care needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, individual, and group notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on case management, discharge planning, and coordination of services.
Experience
- SUDP/SUDPT License with Washington State
- Prior experience working in inpatient or outpatient settings specializing in behavioral health.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), medical documentation standards, and ASAM placement criteria.
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations for substance use disorders using standardized tools.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to client privacy and confidentiality in medical records management.
- Ability to perform assessments effectively, including individual and group counseling, across diverse populations.
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
