Now Hiring: Mental Health Professionals (MHP) & Human Services Professionals (HSP)
We are currently seeking a qualified Mental Health Professional (MHP) or a Human Services Professional (HSP) to join our team. Our team provides supportive and rehabilitative behavioral health services to adults within a structured day treatment setting.
Staff will assist individuals in developing coping skills, improving daily functioning, and working toward recovery and independent living goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral health support and rehabilitative services to individuals served
- Assist individuals in developing coping skills, life skills, and independence
- Facilitate structured activities and therapeutic skill-building groups
- Monitor behavioral health symptoms and progress toward service goals
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily service notes and program records
- Develop treatment plans and write 90 Day Progress Summaries
- Collaborate with the treatment team to support individualized service plans
- Promote a safe, supportive, and recovery-oriented environment
- Follow program policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Daily lunch preparation for clients
- Transport of clients
Minimum Qualifications – Mental Health Professional (MHP):
- Master’s or doctoral degree from a program that is primarily psychological in nature (e.g., counseling, guidance, psychology, social work, or social science equivalent) from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the population to be served
Minimum Qualifications – Human Services Professional (HSP):
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in psychology, social work, early childhood education, child development, or a related field
OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in another field and a minimum of forty-five (45) documented training hours related to behavioral health issues and treatment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in behavioral health, or community-based mental health programs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass background screening and meet program employment requirements
- Ability to maintain professional documentation and service records
Schedule:
Full-time and part-time opportunities available. One weekend a month may be required.
