- Works independently under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
- Able to learn new psychological measures under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
- Demonstrates willingness to expand clinical skills and adapt to evolving best practices within the field.
- Passionate about prioritizing the welfare and needs of clients.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to evidence-based practices and best practices within the field.
- Capable of collaborating effectively with other disciplines, community agencies, and educational and judicial systems.
- All responsibilities are conducted under the supervision of a licensed psychologist
- Conduct psychological assessments, prepare reports, and administer evaluations; ADOS experience is valued.
- Diagnose psychological disorders, assess their nature and extent, and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy to clients in clinical settings.
- Implement goal-specific and measurable treatment plans.
- Consult with parents to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide crisis response and intervention services as needed.
- Manage caseload assignments effectively and efficiently.
- Seek guidance and support from supervisors regarding clinical and operational matters as necessary.
- Comply with all HIPAA and other relevant privacy laws to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Maintain all necessary certifications and licensure required for the role.
- Master’s degree in psychology is required.
- Completion of an internship, preferably APA-accredited.
- Possession of (or eligibility for) a license in the state of Maryland.
Travel And Physical Requirements
- The position involves standing, sitting, and floor activities.
- Physical assistance of clients may be necessary, which can include lifting or physically guiding clients; lifting may exceed 50 lbs.
Salary : $45 - $60
