Social Skills Lead Behavior Technician
Behavior Treatment & Analysis is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Skills Lead Behavior Technician to support the delivery of high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services while leading social skills groups for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
In this role, you will facilitate evidence-based social skills groups, provide hands-on clinical support to Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs), and collaborate closely with BCBAs and Clinical Supervisors to promote consistency, treatment integrity, and positive client outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Lead and facilitate structured social skills groups for children with ASD.
- Model and support the implementation of ABA interventions during group sessions.
- Provide guidance and real-time coaching to Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) during service delivery.
- Assist with onboarding support and shadow sessions for new Behavior Technicians as assigned.
- Collaborate with BCBAs and Clinical Supervisors to ensure treatment plans are implemented with fidelity.
- Collect accurate behavioral data and complete clinical documentation.
- Deliver direct 1:1 ABA therapy as needed.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, clinical quality, and client safety.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field preferred.
- Experience providing ABA services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Experience facilitating or supporting social skills groups is preferred.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles, behavior management, and skill acquisition programs.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to mentor peers while maintaining a positive and team-oriented approach.
