Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Behavior Interventionist (BII) located in Los Angeles, CA. The Behavior Interventionist is responsible for implementing evidence-based behavioral intervention plans, supporting children in achieving individualized goals, and collaborating with families and educational teams. Day-to-day tasks include observing behavior, collecting and documenting data, assisting with skill-building activities, and maintaining consistent communication with team members.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in implementing behavior intervention plans and techniques
- Strong observation, data collection, and documentation abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with families and educational teams
- Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Relevant experience working with children with developmental and behavioral challenges
- Basic knowledge of behavioral principles (e.g., Applied Behavior Analysis)
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred
- Bilingual language skills or special education experience is a plus
- Ability to reliably commute to various locations within the Los Angeles, CA area
