Marketing & Client Relations Associate
Summary
Behavior Therapy Associates (BTA), a well-established private group practice of psychologists and behavior analysts in Somerset, NJ, is seeking a full-time Marketing & Client Relations Associate to join our supportive, values-driven team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and enjoys building relationships with clients, referral sources, and the community. You will spend most of your time driving marketing initiatives, community engagement, and referral outreach to help grow the practice, while also assisting with front-desk and administrative tasks to support smooth daily operations.
This position is in-person Monday - Wednesday and remote Thursday and Friday.
Responsibilities:
Marketing & Client Outreach (approximately 80%)
- Conduct outreach to referral sources via phone, email, or in-person visits
- Assist with the creation, distribution, and posting of marketing and social media materials
- Represent BTA professionally in all communications and community settings
- Help brainstorm creative ideas for outreach campaigns, social posts, and print materials
- Track outreach efforts, maintain contact database, and report on referral trends
- Collaborate with Executive Director, Office Manager, clinicians, and our external marketing consultant.
Administrative & Office Support (approximately 20%)
- Serve as a point of contact at the front desk for clients
- Support clinical staff via client communication and scheduling
- Assist with scanning, filing, organizing, and maintaining client records
- Support the Office Manager with general office operations as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Comfortable reaching out to referral sources via phone, email, and in-person meetings
- Interest in marketing, social media, and community engagement
- Experience with content creation and posting on social media platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
- Experience with basic blogging, content writing, podcasts, and video editing
- Experience with design or marketing tools is a plus (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)
- Familiarity with tracking marketing or referral metrics
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, email, and spreadsheets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, warm, confident, and professional
- Friendly, flexible, and genuinely committed to helping others
Compensation & Benefits
- $23–$28/hour, based on experience
- Full-time (up to 40 hours/week)
- Paid Time Off & Sick Leave
- Hybrid work model: in-person Mon – Wed; remote Thurs – Fri
