What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician / Behavior Technician position at Behavior Solutions Incorporated?
We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for implementing effective treatment plans to clients in an individual home setting.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individual treatment plans under the direction of the Clinical Director/BCBA
- Establish treatment goals and milestones with clients
- Prepare progress reports for relevant parties
- Educate families on treatment goals and techniques to ensure success of the client
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals under the supervision of the Clinical Director
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in behavioral therapy for children with ASD, Special Education, or other related fields
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma
- Bilingual a plus
- Willing to work Nassau, Suffolk or the 5 Burroughs
