A Day in the Life of a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) at Behavior Matters:
At Behavior Matters, every day is a chance to make a difference. Working under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®), you’ll support autistic children as they build essential life and communication skills—right here in our center, community or their home. You’ll implement individualized behavior intervention plans, track meaningful progress through data collection, and contribute to a team focused on compassion, consistency, and growth.
Whether it’s building routines through play or helping with self-care milestones like potty training, you’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive environment where your work truly matters.
This role is ideal for someone who finds joy in purposeful play, values structure, and wants to see the long-term impact of their work.
When, Where, and What You’ll Earn:
- When: Sessions typically run 2–3 hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
- Where: Primarily in our center, clients come to you..
- Pay: $17-$21 per hour, based on experience and credentials.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Able to pass a background check and provide favorable references
- Physically able to stand, sit, run, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform CPR if needed
- Committed to maintaining a consistent schedule and location for 90 days
- CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain in 30 days)
