Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Behavior Learning and Development Group is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing ABA team. The RBT will provide high‐quality, evidence‐based behavioral services to children and adolescents with autism and related developmental differences under the supervision of a BCBA.
Work Location
- In‐clinic services in Valley Springs, CA
- In‐home and community‐based services throughout Calaveras County
- Opportunity to work clinic‐based, travel‐based, or a combination of both
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clinic, home, and/or community settings
- Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior
- Use positive reinforcement and evidence‐based teaching strategies
- Collaborate with supervisors and caregivers
- Maintain client confidentiality and follow ethical standards
- Participate in ongoing training and supervision
Qualifications
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Or willingness to undergo training (paid) to obtain certification
- Or possesses an associate's degree in either a human, social, or educational services discipline, or a degree or certification related to behavioral management from an accredited community college or educational institution
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with individuals with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and accept feedback
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Calaveras County
- Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
Preferred (Not Required)
- Spanish‐speaking
- Experience with Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)
- Experience using trauma‐informed care approaches
- Familiarity with naturalistic teaching strategies
