What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parent Consultant position at Behavior Genius, LLC?
At Behavior Genius, we believe meaningful change begins by empowering families—not just supporting children.
We recognize that every child’s progress is strengthened when parents feel confident, equipped, and supported. Our mission extends beyond clinical services by partnering with families to build resilience, confidence, and lifelong success. We meet families where they are, helping them navigate challenges with compassion, practical guidance, and unwavering support.
We don't simply provide services—we build relationships that transform lives.
Position Summary
The Parent Consultant serves as a trusted coach, advocate, educator, and partner for parents and caregivers of the children we serve. This position provides individualized guidance to help families navigate the emotional, educational, and practical aspects of raising a child with special needs.
Working closely with the Parent Experience Manager, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and Clinical Supervisors, the Parent Consultant empowers families through education, emotional support, resource navigation, and personalized coaching.
The Parent Consultant builds meaningful relationships that help parents develop confidence, strengthen family systems, and create sustainable success both inside and outside of therapy.
At Behavior Genius, we believe families are the experts on their children.
Our role is to walk alongside them—not in front of them.
Through empathy, collaboration, education, and encouragement, we help parents discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and confidently advocate for their children. Every interaction should leave families feeling heard, respected, empowered, and supported.
