Behavior Analyst

Job Description

This position provides behavior consultation services to residential care homes, day programs, and/or schools in the Bay Area and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Clinical Director
• Be responsive to constructive feedback
• Collaborate with residential care home and day program administrators and staff
• Collaborate with other team members as needed
• Conduct functional behavior assessments
• Write reports as needed: initial assessment, quarterlies, semi-annual, annuals, exit, etc
• Develop and implement appropriate goals based on the assessments
• Update, modify and troubleshoot treatment plans based on data received
• Write reports based on required information per home/day program and templates provided
• Create, set up, data collection systems for the homes and day programs
• Modify those data collection systems as needed
• Train, supervise, and provide constructive feedback to residential care home and day program staff
• Support behavior consultants on other home/ day program projects as needed
• Willing to drive to group homes and day programs across the bay area

Qualifications & Requirements

• M.A. in Psychology, Education, or a related field required
• BCBA certification (certification in good standing required)
• At least 5 years working with people with special needs, specifically implementing ABA-based treatment plans
• Knowledge of ABA and ability to articulate/ teach methodology to staff
• Must be dependable, diligent, and punctual
• Have good work ethics
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Have a working phone with a working camera
• Strong and clear report writing skills
• Proficient in computer skills and programs such as Google Suite, Zoom, Adobe PDF Reader
• Enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities and have a positive attitude
• Can work independently and as a team
• Receptive to constructive feedback
• Can follow verbal and written instructions
• Have a reliable car and car insurance - Proof of valid driver’s license and car insurance
• Are willing to drive to residential care homes and day programs to provide services
• Have no prior criminal record
• Can provide a negative TB test
• DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance

Pay: From $68,640.00 per year
