About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Behavior Technician to support clients in the Rochester Hills area. This is a part‑time position working directly with children/adults in their homes and community settings.
Availability required:
- Summer Hours: Varies due to client availability. Applicants need to be available at least 4 days per week, Monday–Friday.
- Fall Hours: Applicant needs to be available at least 4 days per week, Monday–Friday between 3-6:30 primarily after school - some daytime hours may be available.
What You’ll Do:
- Engage children in meaningful, goal‑driven activities using individualized ABA therapy programs
- Follow treatment protocols designed by a Master’s-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Work in home, community, and school environments
- Collect daily data and graph progress
- Communicate promptly with your clinical team (phone, email, text)
- Participate in team meetings as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred, but not required
- Training provided: online modules, shadowing, and ongoing supervision
- BA/BS degree preferred but not required
- Strong time‑management and organizational skills
- Regular access to a computer with high‑speed internet
- Valid Michigan driver’s license and auto insurance
- Reliable, insured vehicle for daily travel (typically within 45 minutes of home office)
- Comfortable working in client homes
- Travel reimbursement provided
Hours & Availability
- Part‑time: 15–20 hours per week
- Summer Hours: Varies due to client availability; Applicant needs to be available at least 4 days per week, Monday–Friday.
- Fall Hours: Applicant needs to be available at least 4 days per week, Monday–Friday between 3-6:30 primarily after school.
