Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
  • Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
  • Support teaching sessions that enhance communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors through engaging activities
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies
  • Foster a safe, respectful environment that encourages positive interactions and supports client well-being

Skills

  • Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
  • Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
  • Ability to collect detailed data accurately during sessions for progress tracking
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
  • Excellent teaching skills with a patient-centered approach to support learning and growth
  • Compassionate attitude towards clients’ needs while maintaining professionalism in all interactions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
