Duties
- Implement behavior plans and interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct support to individuals with neuro-developmental disabilities (e.g., Autism, etc.) in clinic
- Collect data on client progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and modify treatment plans as needed
- Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills
- Utilize behavioral strategies to manage challenging behaviors
- capable of providing group social skills training (multiple clients)
- Support individuals in achieving their goals and increasing their independence
```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health is highly desirable
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of medical records is beneficial
- Ability to implement care plans and follow behavioral protocols
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with individuals with special needs
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
