What are the responsibilities and job description for the Media Buyer position at BEGOOD?
BEGOOD is looking for a proactive, strategy-first Media Buyer to lead the growth engine for a portfolio of high-growth D2C and CPG brands. This is not a "set it and forget it" execution role. We need a partner who can lead the strategic roadmap, manage multi-channel budgets, and act as the bridge to our creative teams. You will be responsible for the health of accounts across Paid Social, Paid Search, and Shopper (Instacart), ensuring that performance data is constantly being translated into fresh creative briefs.

Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Channel Execution: Lead media buying across Paid Social (Meta), Paid Search (Google), and Shopper Marketing (Instacart).
- Proactive Strategy: Own the strategic roadmap for each client. You should be identifying opportunities for scale and spotting account risks before they become problems.
- Creative Briefing: You will be responsible for writing clear, data-backed briefs for my creative team. You must be able to look at the data, see what’s fatigueing, and tell our team exactly what hooks or visuals we need next.
- Testing & Optimization: Constantly test and refine strategies to improve CPA, ROAS, and MER.
- Reporting & Insights: Develop biweekly performance reports that move beyond "vanity metrics" to provide actionable insights and clear next steps for the client.
- Audits & Sales Support: Execute detailed audits of prospective clients’ accounts to identify untapped growth levers during the onboarding/sales process.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3 years of experience managing paid media, specifically within the D2C/CPG space.
- Platform Mastery: Deep technical expertise in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Instacart Ads. (Experience with TikTok and Pinterest is a major plus).
- Creative Intuition: A proven ability to write creative briefs that get results. You understand the "why" behind high-performing ad creative.
- Analytical Rigor: Strong skills in data interpretation, A/B testing, and multivariate testing.
- Ownership: You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You take full accountability for account performance and don't wait for a "to-do" list to take action.
- Communication: Excellent ability to present insights clearly to both my internal team and external client stakeholders.
Role Details
- Type: Part-Time Contract (approx. 10–20 hours/week to start).
- Duration: 6-month initial contract with the intent to transition to a permanent role based on performance.
