Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, while promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in a safe environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and nap times to ensure their safety.
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as diaper changes and potty training.
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized classroom
Requirements
- Experience in childcare settings such as babysitting, nannying, or working in classrooms is preferred.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support children's emotional needs.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to work with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and co teachers
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are essential qualities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
