Responsibilities
- Employment and supervision of staff, including verifying references.
- Assist teachers in implementing weekly activities and maintaining a safe environment.
- Facilitate communication with parents and address any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with NC Daycare rules and regulations.
- Ensure business is compliant with state and federal labor laws.
- Ensure building remains in compliance with NC regulations.
- Maintain children's and staff records.
- Conduct fire evaluations monthly.
- Oversee playground safety inspections and paperwork.
- Manage curricula compliance and procurement of materials.
- Support staff through training and professional development.
- Handle budget, accounts, marketing, and parent communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess the North Carolina Early Childhood Administration Credential or its equivalent as determined by the Department of Health and Services.
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
- 2 years of experience in childcare and child development.
- Demonstrate ability to coordinate and integrate various components of childcare programs.
